Let’s debunk the myth that tells us “no good deed goes unpunished.” Let’s tell it like it REALLY is: “No good deed goes without creating a ripple of positive actions.”
The expression “pay it forward, ” which became popular after the release of the movie by the same name in 2000, is used to describe the concept of asking that a good deed be repaid by doing something for someone else. This feeds into the Law of Attraction idea that by raising the Universal Vibration, we automatically make the world a kinder, softer, gentler place, and receive immeasurable benefits by doing our part to keep the feeling going.
Another way to look at it is to say, “What goes around, comes around.” I practice what I preach by making sure I “do good” as often as possible. When there is an opportunity to help others, if I am able to assist, I do so. I laughingly call it “collecting stars for my karma crown.”
Today I invite you to do the same. If your eyes are fully open, you will find you’re literally surrounded with a plethora of opportunities to raise the Universal Vibration. And you won’t believe how terrific it will make you feel!
So go forth, do good, and pass it on! The joy you bring to others today will come back to you 100 times over, from people and circumstances you can’t even imagine! Positive action begets positive action, and we all benefit.
