The Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester has an amazingly yummy daily lunch and dinner buffet. The highlight, at least for me, is the towering three-tiered, continuously-flowing, dark chocolate fountain.

Plenty of strawberries, cherries, and marshmallows were readily available for skewering and dipping with the handy little skewer sticks. But I didn’t stop there. I discovered chocolate chip cookies are even better with half the cookie coated with sweet gooey goodness. Other fruits, such as bananas, or cubed cantaloupe and honeydew melon, are also enhanced by immersing them in melted chocolate. (And I’m absolutely certain this still counts as full servings in the fruit group.)

I really, really, wanted to experiment with chocolate-covered chicken and shrimp, but restrained myself just in time. After all, all things in moderation, and I needed to save something for my next trip!
