I admit it, I stole today’s blog title from a local church reader board. And for that, I give thanks.

I subscribe to the belief that the more we express our gratitude, the more the universe will give us to be grateful for. The Law of Attraction teaches us that the high vibration of gratitude creates an atmosphere of absolute abundance.

My first and last prayers of the day are the words “Thank you.” I practice an attitude of gratitude as part of my daily spiritual life, not just on the fourth Thursday of November.

So here’s a challenge for you… For the next 30 days, write down 10 things each day for which you are truly grateful. Ten different things each day. These don’t have to be monumental or earth-shattering insights, just things like receiving a letter from a friend or finding a parking place close to the mall entrance on a rainy day.

At the end of 30 days, you’ll have 300 things you’ve given thanks for in just a month. Of course, you don’t have to stop at 10 each day, and you don’t have to stop at the end of the 30 day trial either.

You’ll be surprised what unexpected benefits you’ll get from accepting this challenge. I’m not going to spoil the surprise and tell you what they’ll be, but you’ll know when you see them.

Meanwhile, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I am grateful that you read my blog today!
