Truth be told, I’d choose fortune, if given half the chance. Fame doesn’t pay the bills, and fame can actually work against you if you’re a private person. Lucky for me, I’m not, cause tomorrow I get to experience a little bit of “famous time.”
Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 2, at 9:30 a.m., that will by MY voice on the radio. Donna Quinn, who does the “Talk of Our Towns” show on KMUN, FM 91.9, will be interviewing me about my latest book, “Just Joshin’, A Year in the Life of a Not-so-ordinary 4th Grade Kid.”
Am I nervous? Maybe a little. It’s not every day my voice goes out across the airwaves like that. But I know the subject well, I’m happy to share my publishing experience, and perhaps someone will be inspired to buy my book just because they heard me talking about it on air. Could happen…
