Growing up in Seattle, we often referred to Rainier Beer as “Vitamin R,” acknowledging the enormous red neon letter glowing on the top of the building where they made it.
Forty years later, I no longer drink, and the Vitamin R in my life has been replaced with just-as-addictive Vitamin C… C, which stands for Cookies.
Cookies are one of God’s perfect foods. They’re compact, easily transportable, require no eating utensils to enjoy them, and come in an almost limitless variety.
Cookies quite possibly need to have a section on the food pyramid all to themselves.
Just sayin’.
