I love a good, old-fashioned, holiday bazaar and bake sale, and the Peninsula Church Center in Seaview, WA, is hosting one this weekend, November 5 and 6, from 10-4 p.m.
And in the tradition of holiday bazaars everywhere, there will be an eclectic mix of pottery, embroidery, cranberry baskets, jewelry, glass works, knitting and hand-sewn items, books, watercolors and more!
Of course I’ll be there with my books for sale, but I’ll also be shopping for some very special gifts for some very special people on my list. It’s a funny thing, but I can almost smell Stephanie’s Cardamom bread as I write this! YUM!
And besides getting some very unique and locally produced items, 15 percent of the proceeds go to the Ocean Beach Women’s Association to help fund Mission work both local and abroad.
Please stop by have a piece of pie!
