Those who can, do. And for those who can, and also happen to know how to teach… well, putting this class together is a natural!
In the past three years, I’ve had great success with writing one-act plays. To date, six of them have “seen the boards,” and three more will be performed in December.
Add to that my 30-year teaching career, and it was an easy decision to offer a one-act playwriting class this fall. At first, Gray’s Harbor College was going to host the class, but those darn budget cuts took their toll.
So I’m hosting it myself. On five consecutive Mondays, from 6 to 8 p.m., I’ll be sharing my expertise with those who are interested in learning more about the craft of playwriting. More information is in today’s Coast Weekend.
Ten hours of instruction for $95. What a deal! You can register online at www.JanBonoBooks.com
