Bazaar season—that six or eight week window of opportunity for crafters of all kinds, has its official peninsula start at the Eagles’ in Ocean Park this Friday and Saturday, October 14 and 15.
I’m eagerly looking forward to this event, and all the others I have on my calendar between now and mid-December. My new book, “It’s Christmas!” will be the centerpiece of my display, along with four more of my own titles and no less than nine different Chicken Soup editions with my stories included.
When I’m in writing mode, I sequester myself in my office, turn off the phone, and do not open my email program. In other words, it’s a very solitary time. When I participate in a bazaar, I enjoy meeting readers and talking about writing and stories, ad infinitum.
So come on out and say hello, not just to me, but to all the wonderful people who spend the year crafting their crafts and looking forward to Bazaar Season. As an added bonus, you can do all your Christmas shopping right there too!
See you soon!
