Change has always been a scary thing for me. Deciding to do one thing over another, putting the wheels in motion, taking that leap of faith, rocking the boat, uncertain if I’m choosing the “right” path, second and third guessing myself…
Sometimes I think my middle name should have been “Inertia.”
And yet today I’m jumping right on the Bandwagon for Change. Today I have an unprecedented hope for the future. Damn the stock market! Damn the bail-outs! Damn the sky-rocketing health insurance premiums!
Today I feel a palpable undercurrent of empowerment that began the first Tuesday night in November and will now be embodied by the Inauguration ceremonies.
Yes, it IS time for a change, and for once, I am embracing it without hesitation or reservation. God bless the powers that be.
