I’ve got a lot to celebrate this season. Top on my list is the fact that I have five holiday stories included in the just-released “Chicken Soup for the Soul, The Gift of Christmas” book.
In communicating with the assistant publisher of Chicken Soup this summer, I learned it was rare for an author to have more than three stories in any one volume. That makes me even more grateful and truly blessed.
To date, I’ve had over a dozen stories accepted for over half a dozen of the popular books. I’m happy to have found a national niche for my writing. I like to write feel-good, true anecdotes, and obviously, people like to read them.
I’ll be having a booksigning at Olde Towne Trading Post, across from the museum in Ilwaco, Washington, on Saturday, October 30, from 1-3 p.m. In addition to the hardbound Christmas edition, I’ll have a selection of my other books and my brand-new audio books available.
It’s not too early to be thinking about Christmas! Hope to see you there.
