What do Calgary, Cabo San Lucas, Denver, New Orleans, Tulsa, Sacramento, Milwaukee and Maui all have in common?
SURPRISE! They all have Harley-Davidson motorcycle shops! (Didn’t see that one coming, did you?)
And these shops, more often than not, have shot glasses with the official Harley logo and their location printed on them. And my friend Patty just happens to collect such things. Which makes it pretty easy to bring her back a souvenir from my adventures.
The fact that they fit my “minimalist happy crap criteria,” and tuck right into the toe of a shoe in my suitcase, makes me a pretty happy traveler. The additional oxymoronic fact that neither Patty nor I drink is irrelevant.
It’s the thought that counts!
