Peninsula Players present “FrUiTCaKeS” December 4, 5, 6 and 11, 12, 13 at the 2nd Story Playhouse, 108 Spruce St (above JT’s Café) in Ilwaco. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m., the Sunday matinees start at 2:00.
I’m using my space today to plug “FrUiTCaKeS” because it’s a feel-good holiday romp seen through the quirky antics of a southern small town’s strange, but loveable, residents. And I happen to have a penchant for strange, but loveable, residents.
Twenty-one local actors have parts in this heart-warming story; some of them just happen to be former students of mine. Tickets are available at Stormin Norman’s in Long Beach, Okies’ Thriftway in Ocean Park, The Imperial Schooner in Ilwaco, or at the door, if available, 30 minutes prior to show time.
