Ok, ok, I fibbed. Unintentionally. On August 13, when I said I wasn’t attending any of the practices for my current one-act play in production, I meant it. That is, until the opportunity came up to video tape a dress rehearsal.

So I’ve seen “Just Joshin’,” the play, just as it will be presented this weekend. A friend videotaped it, and copies have been made for the director, cast, and me. Now I just need to hear the audience reaction to the lines I wrote to get a true handle on how funny it is. And that’s where you come in…

Come join me August 27, 28 or 29 at the Second Story Playhouse in Ilwaco. Admission is only $5, and you’ll be supporting our local community theater. I’ll be there all three performances, selling my book, “Just Joshin’, A Year in the Life of a Not-so-ordinary 4th Grade Kid” during intermission. Stop by and say hello.

Or even better, buy a book! The play features only 10 stories; the book has 63! It’s just $12, which includes the tax. I’ll even autograph it for you!
