Three weeks from Sunday, on June 5, there’ll be an unprecedented “literary event” at the River City Playhouse. Eleven local published authors will be reading from their works for a Peninsula Players Fundraiser, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The authors are Karen Bertroch, Jan Bono, Birdie Etchison, Lorrie Haight, Kevin Heimbigner, Muriel Jensen, Gloria Linkey, Bryan Penttila, Bette Snyder, Karen Snyder and Robert Michael Pyle.
Since this is a fundraiser, a $5 admission will be collected at the door (although we’d certainly accept larger donations!) and a selection of authors’ books will be for sale, with 20% going to support our local playhouse.
The topics are wide-ranging and there’s sure to be something for everyone. Please mark your calendars now to join us at the River City Theater, 127 Lake Street, Ilwaco, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 5.
