Unless your head has been completely buried in beach sand the past two weeks, you know that the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos will be playing a little football game in East Rutherford, New Jersey tomorrow.

It’s only the second time the Seahawks have gone to the Super Bowl in their 37-year history, and Seattle fans are still shaking their heads over the officiating against Pittsburgh in 2005. (And yes, I agree: We got robbed!)

Tomorrow we have a pretty fair chance of walking away with a long-overdue trophy. I know I’ll be watching, and it won’t be “just for the commercials,” as a few of my friends have told me. I was born in Seattle, and my loyalties run deep.

I’ll be a proud part of the 12th Man, or perhaps I should call it the 12th Woman phenomena, cheering loudly from the west coast: GO SEAHAWKS!
