More and more I’m seeing articles and magazine fillers jumping on the positivity bandwagon. Rarely do they refer to it as “raising vibrations” or give credit to the principles of the Law of Attraction, but that’s exactly what it is.
It’s a fact that we remember our negative experiences four times longer than our happy ones. And it’s a fact that we can train our brains to focus more intensely on the positive experiences. One of the ways to jumpstart our positive thoughts is to write down what’s right in our lives.
Whether you write in a Gratitude Journal or simply jot a list on a post-it note, recalling the good parts of your day before you retire at night will help you feel more hopeful and optimistic when you arise. You might even sleep better.
I have long been a proponent of the journal. That way you can go back for weeks at a time and see all that’s going well in your life. You’ll soon be amazed at how much you truly have to be grateful for. And the Universe will bring you more of whatever you put your Attention, Energy and Focus on.
