Lumpy or smooth?
Be careful how you answer that— I’m suggesting there are deep, meaningful clues to your personality and character quirks indicated by how you respond.
I think of it this way: Lumpy indicates a willingness to view life’s obstacles as interesting challenges. Smooth is a preference for burying your head in the sand and not making waves. “Smooth sailing” doesn’t automatically necessitate the best adventure.
Personally, I prefer knowing that what’s on my plate was once an actual potato. The lumps give it texture, character, and something to chew on…
So I invite you to chew on this today—Out of your times of greatest perceived chaos, haven’t you always emerged a wiser/better person?
I truly believe there’s always, yes ALWAYS, a silver lining to be had if we choose to view the lumps in our potatoes as harbingers of good and even gooder things to come.
And after that, it’s all gravy!
